San Diego Paradise: 2BR North Park Deck& Parking

Our stay at Michael’s home was awesome! Check-in was easy and clear. The space was clean when we arrived and had all the basics needed for our trip. It was very convenient to have a grocery store within walking distance as well. Michael was a fantastic host and was always available if we needed anything. I would stay at Michael’s property again if I were back in the area.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Michael's place, and he was very proactive in sending messages about the location, getting in, and house rules and requests. The place is quite comfortable, and Michael has thought of some nice small details. Be aware that most of the photos in the listing are AI-enhanced, and while I appreciate an older and more rustic stay, the photos make the place look like it was built yesterday. The porch has a nice view, but it seems some of the windows can be shut, and it's a little rustic. Be aware that you're in a home that is attached to other units. I woke to someone walking past my window. Also, the lawn crew at the unit next to Michael's place came by very early in the morning with lawn mowers and leaf blowers. In terms of value, Michael's price is comparable to other whole-unit AirBnB rentals in the area, but it wasn't what I would call budget-friendly. That said, the location is great, as it's within walking distance from Balboa Park!
